Role Summary:

We are looking for a Marketing Analyst to join our team and support in the continued growth of the business. This role plays a crucial part in delivering the growth ambitions of the company strategy. You will be expected to work closely with the marketing team to support with campaign delivery and provide insight to the channel owners to drive improved performance. Understanding performance at a channel level looking at results will play a crucial part of your daily role.

Role Responsibilities:

• Day to day responsibility to runs counts and make selections for marketing campaigns
• Assist with setting up the marketing campaigns in our email & SMS platforms
• Make recommendations and suggest opportunities for testing and improving campaign performance
• Review performance and results from marketing activity on a weekly basis
• Manage & maintain the marketing reporting dashboards
• Provide insights into customer behaviour through analysis of customer journeys by segment & source
• Work alongside both the channel owners and the relevant squad to drive volume growth and efficien-cies by proactively identify trends and insights
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and deeper dives in to areas of opportunity
• Devise and develop reports & dashboards relevant to each team
• Help identify areas, channels or segments where opportunities exist
• Work with the Data Squad to ensure data consistency across different data stores
• Provide support and training to the marketing & tech teams to help develop a culture of data analysis across the wider business
• Set up customer segmentation for the marketing team to use

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Strong SQL knowledge
• The ability to deliver insights rather than just data
• A sharp eye for detail with accurate grammar and spelling is a must
• Excellent communication / interpersonal skills both written and verbal
• The ability to identify opportunities in the data which will benefit the customer

Experience Required:
• Strong consumer marketing experience in an online fast paced environment
• Ability to derive insights from complex data sets and deliver recommendations in a simple and compre-hensive way
• Evidence of delivering insight which has produced tangible improvements
• Strong experience of SQL
• Previous use of Tableau would be advantageous
