Zuto are looking for Graduate to join our exciting, vibrant UX team in the heart of Manchester City Centre for a 1 year sandwich placement. Working alongside experienced developers and using the latest Microsoft technologies, you’ll be helping to create a truly market disrupting product that will revolutionise the way people buy cars.

The right person role will be passionate about great design, capable of contributing to innovative solutions, interested in a data-driven, humanistic approach to design, and excited about helping to shape a market-leading product.

As an Graduate at Zuto, you will learn to:

  • Research and understand. Identify user needs, problem areas and opportunities and create alignment on a way forward
  • Plan, prioritise and schedule work for the design team
  • Generate ideas and use ideation tools and techniques for creating strong solutions and possibilities
  • Decide on the best possible solution, creating user journeys, flows and wireframes
  • Apply visual design craft and polish for handover to the engineering squads
  • Prototype to the required level of fidelity in Proto.io, Invision, Principle, Pixate, Framer, Pop, Keynote etc
  • Organise and conduct user research and identify what works and what needs work
  • Facilitate workshops and collaboratively produce the best solutions
  • Present your work and ideas in a clear and compelling way

What we're looking for:

Here are the qualities we’ll be looking for when assessing candidates for our Intern Developer positions:

  • Driven and passionate about UX Design or Research
  • A recent Graduate who's looking for their first or second role in Design
  • Some exposure to Lo-fi & hi-fi prototyping skills
  • Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Confident communicator
  • Passionate designer (demonstrable through your portfolio)
  • Familiarity or interest in Agile
