We’re looking for a Web Analytics Analyst to join our team and support in the continued growth of the business. This role plays a crucial part in delivering the continued growth ambitions of the company. You’ll be responsible for providing accurate and timely management information, working closely with the channel owners and improving funnel conversion and efficiency.
As Web Analytics Analyst, you will be skilled at analysing and producing insightful information to ensure ROI visibility on all site features and facilitate sound decision making on enhancement priorities.

o Manage & maintain the web analytics implementation across our range of websites
o Ensure consistent tracking, analysis and reporting of core website KPIs and define various weekly and monthly Dashboard formats
o Provide insights in to online customer behaviour through analysis of customer journeys by segment & source
o Work alongside both the channel owners and the relevant squad to drive volume growth and efficiencies by proactively identify trends and insights to help drive conversion improvement, and CPA efficiencies
o Implement and improve the experimental process - Manage the implementation and analysis of online experiments.
o Help develop our attribution model to understand the end-to-end customer journey
o Provide ad-hoc analysis and deeper dives in to areas of opportunity
o Collaboratively work with the dedicated Data Squad to ensure data consistency across different data stores
o Own and develop campaign tagging to ensure all marketing can be accurately tracked through both online & offline conversion
o Act as internal expert on Google analytics - Provide support and training to the marketing & engineering team to help develop a culture of data analysis across the wider business
o Assist with all QA effort of all creative and functional tagging throughout the site
o Implement/improve website tagging process
o Support adhoc requests, as needed
What we’re looking for
o Strong consumer web and marketing experience in an online fast paced environment
o Ability to derive insights from complex data sets and deliver recommendations in a simple and comprehensive way
o Proven successful delivery of data driven web analysis and recommendations to drive forward digital performance
o Advanced numerical and analytical skills (Maths degree preferred although not essential)
o Demonstrable excellent analytical and numerical skills
o Expertise in Google analytics - including setting up GA, filters, goals and dashboards and ownership of implementation and tagging
o Experience of experimental set up and post analytics
o Advanced used of Excel and tableau.
o The ability to not only deliver data but insights too
o Understanding of Session Replay / heat mapping tools
o Appreciation of web development technology
o A sharp eye for detail with accurate grammar and spelling is a must
o Excellent communication / interpersonal skills both written and verbal
o Evidence of successful delivery of data driven web analysis and recommendations to drive forward digital performance
o Previous use of Hitwise or other competitor monitoring tools is ideal but not essential
o Knowledge of attribution models, and any experience using attribution tools would be advantageous
