Zuto’s People Team was put in place for one reason, and one reason only—to support the awesome culture that’s been developing since day one. Our mission is simple—we nurture “Zutopia”…the magical place where our Zutonites thrive, deliver incredible things to our customers and, most importantly, have a boatload of fun along the way.
The Zuto experience is everything to us and, in such a fast-paced environment, that’s changing by the day, so our approach to People is constantly evolving. We pride ourselves on our unique approach, and have a very clear vision of what makes a great place to work.
Our People Team are responsible for all of our Talent initiatives. They also make sure that only the very best people join the Zuto journey. Once a new Zutonite joins us, our HR team help support their long-term development, delivering on the “employee lifecycle”. This includes everything from preparing contracts and onboarding new staff, taking care of the ongoing health and wellbeing of our teams, to driving high performance and career development. We have initiatives to invest in our leadership teams, to make sure that you have all of the support, guidance and mentoring you need at every stage of your career with Zuto.
Aside from this, we also take responsibility for our Zutonite’s overall happiness. Sound strange? Well it shouldn’t… if our people aren’t happy then neither are we! We regularly ask how people are feeling about life at Zuto, and welcome ideas about what we can do to make things better. There are opportunities to feedback anonymously through a multitude of channels, and we use this insight to continuously improve what we’re doing.
We’re also responsible for internal communications, which brings everyone “on the journey”. And, most importantly…the fun stuff! From organising a secret bacon butty run on a Friday morning— to rewards and recognition ceremonies. We like to surprise our Zutonites with tokens of our love and appreciation when they least expect it.
In short, we’re on a mission to provide every single one of our Zutonites with opportunities to grow with a business that they genuinely love being part of—simple!
